Is there anything more fun than setting a Summer table? I think not. Gloriously patterned tablecloths, jugs of greenery from the garden and all the vintage tableware I can drum up, there’s not a lot that makes me happier than preparing for a social feast. Placemats are often overlooked as a utilitarian item rather than an aesthetic addition which, really, is UTTER MADNESS - a rather plain plate can be transformed into something special when placed on something pretty.
